Six-day clinically led psilocybin experience

The Afterlight Clinical Retreat brings together psychological preparation, supported psilocybin experiences, therapeutic integration and the space to step outside your usual environment.

Set within a private oceanfront setting in Negril and intentionally limited to a small group, this is a retreat designed around the whole therapeutic journey — not simply the psychedelic experience itself.

When understanding isn’t enough.

You may know your patterns.

You may understand where they came from. You may have spent years in therapy, read the books, changed your circumstances and done the work.

And yet, some things remain.

A relationship you keep repeating. A response you cannot quite shift. A part of yourself you understand intellectually but still cannot reach.

Sometimes knowing something is not the same as being able to change it.

Psilocybin can create a different kind of access — allowing you to experience thoughts, emotions, memories and patterns from a perspective that may not be available in ordinary consciousness.

But the experience itself is only part of the work.

At Afterlight, we create the conditions around it: careful clinical assessment, thoughtful preparation, skilled therapeutic support, an intentional setting and structured integration.

Because the question isn’t simply what did you experience?

It is what becomes possible because of it?

Six Days, Designed Around the Whole Experience

This is more than a dosing session. Each day is intentionally designed to support what happens before, during and after the psychedelic experience — with clinical care, reflection, nature, creativity and connection woven throughout.

Your Journey

  1. 1Day 1

    Arrival & Opening Experience

Arrive in Negril, settle into your private space and meet the clinical team who will be with you throughout the retreat.

The afternoon is intentionally unhurried: grounding, orientation and time to arrive in your body before the work begins. As the sun sets, we gather for an optional gentle low-dose opening experience — a chance to become familiar with the medicine, soften into the environment and begin letting the outside world fall away.

The evening closes together over dinner, as the group begins to form.

  2. 2Day 2

Intention Setting & Primary Dosing Experience

The morning begins with intention-setting and individual preparation with your clinical team. Rather than arriving with a fixed expectation of what should happen, you’ll explore what you are bringing into the experience and what you may be ready to meet.

Your primary dosing experience follows — a deeply supported therapeutic journey held by PhD-level psychologists and trained guides.

Afterwards, there is nowhere you need to be. You’ll have space to rest, decompress and allow the experience to unfold, with your clinical team close by throughout.

  3. 3Day 3

Integration Through Art & Beach Immersion

Today is about beginning to make meaning from what emerged.

The morning opens with a therapeutic art process led by our artist-guide, giving you another language through which to explore and express what may be difficult to put into words.

From there, we move into a group integration circle before leaving the walls of the retreat for a curated beach immersion in the natural landscape of Negril.

The ocean, warmth, movement and open space become part of the integration — giving the nervous system room to settle while you begin connecting experience with meaning.

As evening falls, we gather for a cacao ceremony: a slower, more intimate space for reflection, connection and conversation.

  4. 4Day 4

Deep One-on-One Support & Closing Bonfire

With the experience beginning to settle, Day 4 turns inward again.

You’ll have dedicated one-on-one time with your PhD psychologist to explore the themes, emotions, memories and shifts that have surfaced. This is an opportunity to go deeper into what the experience may be showing you — and begin distinguishing between an insight you had and what it might actually mean for your life.

There is also time for rest, reflection and the simple pleasures of being in Jamaica.

That evening, we come together around the closing bonfire.

Held beneath the night sky, the bonfire is a ritual of transition — a chance to mark what is ending, acknowledge what has shifted and honour what you are carrying forward.

  5. 5Day 5

Integration, Reflection & Your Next Chapter

The final full day is about bringing the experience back into life.

Through guided reflection and integration work, you’ll begin translating what emerged into relationships, behaviours, choices and intentions that can continue beyond Jamaica.

There is time for the beach, movement, conversation and space to simply be — because integration is not only about talking. Sometimes the body needs time to catch up with what the mind has understood.

You’ll also work with your clinician to begin shaping a personalised integration plan and determine whether continued clinical support through AfterCare would be appropriate.

  6. 6Day 6

    Closing & Departure

Your final morning brings the retreat together.

We close with a final integration circle, reflection on the journey and practical planning for what comes next. You’ll receive a written clinical summary and personalised recommendations to support the transition home.

If appropriate, we’ll also schedule your optional six-session AfterCare programme so the work has somewhere to continue once you leave Jamaica.

Then you depart — not with the expectation that everything has been resolved, but with greater clarity about what has shifted, what still needs attention and how you want to move forward.
